Since we started in 2003 we’ve pretty much grown organically, adding to our family as and when we need someone to fill any gaps that have emerged. Our latest addition is Tommy …

Tommy has very quickly slotted in and is looking after some of our advertising campaigns. He’s developing some new media advertising to make sure we’re at the cutting edge of marketing within our industry.

He’s a pretty new Dad and none of us have any idea how he manages to be alive every day with such a young one at home.

As we’re talking about our latest addition, why don’t I run you through the key players here at SkyPark … ?

David is one of the company Directors and looks after the financial side of the business amongst other things. Despite his advancing years Dave can out tennis, golf, party and high kick the entire sorry lot of us.

Dave is a really keen traveller and has recently enjoyed visiting Vietnam, Cambodia and India. Ask him about huts on the beach and he’ll be off. He’s a Man City season ticket holder, despite our best efforts to convince him there are other things that hard earned money can be spent on.

Dean is also a Director of the company looking after business development and making sure all the products we offer to our customers measure up to the task.

When he’s not working Dean spends a lot of time with his family and is a season ticket holder at Blackpool. Despite his need for a little stool to get into his 4×4, Dean’s passion for his family and his work motivates the rest of us to give that little extra.

Mark is our very own leg-end. Mark started working with us 2 years ago to take us onto a new level of development online. We’re about to relaunch our site and Mark has been the guy who’s made the site work so stunningly. It isn’t going to be long so watch this space.

When he’s not working, which isn’t very often, he enjoys going to the gym, photography and sending everyone in the office videos of his favourite Catherine Tate video of the week. Any girly giggles are likely to be coming from Mark’s corner. Or Tommy’s. Or Ian’s.

Peter’s role has changed a little over the years, but it’s become clear that whatever he puts his mind to he’ll nail for you. Originally, Peter took our PPC campaigns and made them into a sustainable, profitable part of the business. A few years down the line and he’s now over-seeing a number of campaigns and orchestrates the development of the business online.

Despite his default position being with his feet on the desk, Peter get’s quite a bit done! Peter has two young sons and balances a busy work life with the needs of his family at home. He’s a Liverpool nut and as such is constantly telling us how wonderful Alonso is – don’t see it myself. Give me Kevin ‘Pork Pie’ Nolan any day. Ahem.

Karen is our office manager – her unrivalled attention to detail makes her a priceless member of the SkyPark family. Having been here from the outset there is little that Karen doesn’t know about the business and she’ll happily do anything for her workmates.

Despite pretending to be shy, Karen’s loves spending the day with her fella visiting wierd and wonderful places on his ridiculously over-powered motor bike. Loving the leathers by the way.

Sally looks after everything financial for the company. Over the years this has got infinitely more complicated and Sal has kept everything in check brilliantly.

Sally’s dark secret is a wonderful creative side and having two grown up kids is a wonderful source of everything a parent could ever need for younger children. Birthdays are a special event in our office, mainly due to the unbelievable cakes Sal creates for our little family.

Elliot is often the first port of call for our customers. Whether taking your booking or helping with any issues our customers may have, El is on call during the day to help out wherever needed.

Outside of the office, El enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, taking her to great places to visit all over the country. He’s a keen Arsenal supporter and gets grief as often as the rest of us can manage it about the fact that he never goes to the Emirates.

Marcin is Mark’s right hand man but a great developer in his own right. He works from home in Poland and is responsible for many of the key developments in our new system.

When he’s not sailing around somewhere with a boat steering wheel in one hand (proper nautical term that) and a beer in the other you might find him playing darts at his local or watching Dexter.

Ian has been here from the start and is the main man responsible for skypark’s rapid internet growth in the early years, not to mention being the guy that built the first version of the website. He also wrote all the charming things about the rest of us above.

These days Ian splits his time between working with the website, looking after his two kids and being our biggest creative force in marketing. While his judgement is never in doubt when it comes to the latest design, email campaign, or blog post; things seem to get a little hazy when it comes to Toto! Or Bolton FC. Or Simply Red. Or ludicrously over priced t-shirts…
